We are delighted to announce our teacher training beginning this November 17th, 2023. If you are curious about it in any way please email us at yoganovastudio@gmail.com and we can chat one on one and answer your questions.

It’s important to us that we get the right people in this training, that means that everyone who invests in this training is aligned with the intentions behind it.

​

Here are a few things to consider about what would make this training a fit for you;

• You either do or do not want to teach yoga AND you DO have a desire to deepen your practice, learn more about yoga and feel confident teaching by the end of the training.

• You are open to realizing how teaching yoga can be a pathway to authentic expression of yourself and how these tools can help you with this expression in all areas of your life.

• You would like to learn about how yoga works, what a yoga practice is and is not, and the why behind what you do on your mat.

• You want to learn how to do yoga poses at a deeper level and cultivate a life-long practice.

• You enjoy Power Yoga and while you will be able to teach any sequence by the end of the training you are open to using it as a template for your learning.

• You are eager for the next step in your life, a way to break through the day to day and make your life into the bigger experience that is ultimately possible for you.

There are lots of other reasons to take a training- yes, we will get into chakras and sanskrit and yes, you will learn anatomy but most of all you will leave this training with a brand new energy and vision for yoga and your life.

We are interested in training teachers to teach at our studio and be in deeper connection with our community. Anyone who wants to teach yoga will be coached, given feedback and given the chance to teach a public class. Those who are ready for a regular class will be able to have one and those who need more coaching will get that too.

Dates and Times

​

All training takes place on weekends, we are completing a 200 hour training. The weekends are spaced out to create time for you to integrate your learning and live your life while you learn. Each weekend is 20 hours and is 12 hours on Saturday and 8 on Sunday. There will be breaks during the day and we will also be practice teaching in between weekends.

 

Fridays: Online Discussion 

Saturdays: 8 am - 8 pm

Sundays: 8 am - 4 pm
